Everything You Wanted to Know about the Hindu Religion But Were Afraid To Ask!

Did you know that the Hindu Religion is considered the world's oldest living religion dating back more than 4,000 years? Hinduism is the third-largest religion behind Christianity and Islam. Yet to many of us Hinduism is a mystery, with its many deities, mantras and rituals. While on its face it appears to be polytheistic, it is in fact monotheistic, centering on the one absolute reality. We’re delighted to welcome back Dr. Grace Telesco as our guest speaker for this fascinating roundtable! Would you like to learn more about this rich spiritual path? Join us!

Awakening the Heart: An Online Interfaith Roundtable Series

With the coming of spring comes the transformation and reawakening of Earth, giving birth to a new season. We, too experienced this awakening in our hearts, by exploring ways we could cross bridges, open doors and break down walls that separate us from others. We began each session in this three-part series with an introduction to the topic by a guest presenter. Then we broke into small "roundtable" groups. In this safe, facilitated space we shared our experiences, observations and responses to the presenter's remarks.

Intensifying the Light: An Online Interfaith Roundtable Series

The world’s great faith traditions teach us that even in the midst of darkness, light is always present. From the star atop the Christmas tree to the candles of Hanukkah, the lights of Diwali and the candles of Kwanzaa, we are called upon to remember that Divine Light is in each of us and in every part of Creation. In this dark time of the year, and in times that feel uncertain, it was even more important for us to intensify the Light within us, so that we could see and honor that which shines in each other, despite our differences.

Racism and the Abrahamic Faiths: An Online Interfaith Roundtable Series

What do the Abrahamic faiths say about racism? Might their teachings offer solutions to counteract or even prevent racism? Have aspects of these faiths inadvertently contributed to racism in our nation and around the world?  We explored these and other important, challenging questions in this three-part online series. Each gathering began with a presentation by a faith leader, followed by discussion in small online "roundtable" groups of no more than six people. In this safe, facilitated space we shared our experiences, observations and concerns about religion's role in the current racial climate.
